a full recap
i went to uvelle's house yesterday. we watched chalie and the chocolate factory and american idol. we had fun and it was great too. we had some talks and laugh trips.
chapter 2005... another year of great and wonderful walks of my life is about to be written in history. the past will never be the present but the past will always reflect the present coz we all learn from our past. no matter how bad or good it may be. tonight, at 12:00 AM we start a new journey... a new life... a new beginning. upon entering 2006, i would like to cherish the moments i went through during the last eleven months of 2005 and december 2005.
the first three months will be together coz my mind got mixed up about certain events. hehehe.
JANUARY 2005 - MARCH 2005
the opening of 2005 gave me good hopes and better lucks. our school' winter break ended on Jan 4. 2005 together with ryan's birthday. then we enjoyed during lavinia's celebrated birthday on Jan. 14 in Abu Dhabi Mall Pizza Hut. i also went to Dubai Shopping Festival and Safa Park during the Family Field Trip in Dubai. I did celebrate my birthday too on Feb. 13 in the same place where lavinia celebrated. I had my very first hosting job during our hs valentines program. i hadd my very first oratorical piece for the oration contest and luckily i got the second place. we did start the cheering practices for ifsam and dances for prom. uvelle and karl celebrated their birthdays too....
APRIL 2005
the cheering and prom practices continues as it gets harder and harder. i finally learned how to do the roll thing. hehehe. i finally transfered my freewebs site to blogspot. sadek and ludiella celebrates their birthday. i did find an addtional friend to my life... mark ranches... i had my very own adventure too when janyn told me to go to her house but she was fast asleep. hehehe. the pope died. kevin's birthday. raisa won as the first-runner in TFC Popstar Elimination rounds and she has to compete for two more rounds to go to the finals. prom night was held in sheraton hotel. homecoming of my brother too...
MAY 2005
raisa competes for the runner-up round but she didn't make it but she had another chance... the wildcard round. we had our final exam for the SY 2004-2005. the most tragic event happened... ETISALAT blocked FRIENDSTER... freak... hehehe. the finger incident happened when lavinia accidentally pulled her leg in the railing and my finger got pinced in between two broken railing. ouch!!!! hehehe. raisa finally made it on May 14 when she won as one of the contestants in TFC POPSTAR. she finally goes to the Semi-finals. my bad luck day happened because of my clumsiness... if you guys still remember... the ball and the clock... sadek went to philippines on May 18. May 22... graduation tears finally happened again. janyn went to phils. on may 24. my brother went back to philippines on May 28.
JUNE 2005
The TFC POPSTAR SEMI-FINALS finally happened and raisa was chosen as one of the three grand finalist and became second runner-up. congrats!!! my day at the conference palace, marinal mall, and breakwater with darell. that was such a wonderful experience for me. fun! fun! fun! raisa went to philippines. my mom had her birthday on June 13. i finally saw Nikki Valdez and Dominic o'Choa in person. wow! hehehe. autograph signing and picture taking took place. i became addicted to amazing race. sadek and uvelle came back on june something.
JULY 2005
the biggest shock of our lives happened when the school said the ministry ordered to close the hs department of PIPS. bianca is finally back and she became our classmate. Roxanne Bandelaria is a newly found friend too. homecoming of janyn and raisa... i became addicted to books... i became more addicted to music. janyn gave me wallet from phillipines. my brother celebrates his birthday on 25.
AUGUST 2005
i became addicted to yahoo groups and met new net friends. ate bern... kuya junn rey... al... and many more... hehehe. the grandest news ever FRIENDSTER is finally back. yey!!! im back in my business... life gets more and more complicated as i say sorry to the person i misunderstood. i became bookish... i started to love reading books... DA VINCI CODE for 5 days. wow! a great story but it is against the teachings of the church but i still do believe God. and one more grand news... school opens!!! yey!!!
SEPTEMBER 2005
school re-opens and more friends were added to my life... windhy, alfred, khalid, and bianca. we're finally fourth year. darell and angelle celebrates their birthday. two SSC parties are finally up. EYSE and ASPIRE. joemar celebrates his birthday. i did finally find my long lost friend during darell's birthday... the person who i misunderstood. yey!!! we were finally buying giveaways for SSC room-to-room... i finished another book DIGITAL FORTRESS... the moving quiz was introduced to us by Sir Nolan. Squizy Squeeze is a part of the fourth year class...
OCTOBER 2005
the competition gets complicated between joemar and bianca as tension rised between the two opposing teams for SSC. major conflicts happened. but it was fixed. and i am glad it was fixed. the room-to-room starts. the presentation of SSC happens. voting starts. bianca, me, roy, raisa, darell, marvin, kat-kat, tin-tin, kate, and karl are the strong contenders. we had our victory party. raisa and janyn celebrates their birthday. earl and kahlid too... ANGELS and DEMONS became a part of my life.
NOVEMBER 2005
i took the thrilling exams of Mapua and UST. we had our first periodical exam. the acquaintance party happened. the costume-get together party happened too. roy and owais celebrates their birthday. janyn goes to philippines for her entrance exams. the shocking ministry arabic exams was reported to us. glee club(choir) was formed by Sir Danest.
DECEMBER 2005
darell finally bids goodbye as he goes to america. we had our christmas party. PIPS varities was held. i finally knew my performance in the MITEE ( mapua institute of technology entrance exam). i passed it. hehehe. we had our first choir performance in rotana. janyn's surprise return. christmas and winter break. enigmatic people adding me in msn... one of them is joshua. but im glad he replies not like the other... ooops!!! another friend in the making.. hehe more bondings with roxanne, roy, windhy, lavinia, sadek and raisa... christmas celebration on the 25th midnight....
these events that took place during 2005 will never be forgotten. these wonderful memories will always be with me. before this year ends, i would love to extend my heartfelt thank yous to all my friends and classmates such as janyn, raisa, bianca, uvelle, windhy, lavinia, roy, darell, karl, jeb, sadek, joemar, earl, owais, thomas, paolo, ryan, alfred, marvene, marvin, roxanne, and mark... to all my yahoo group friends, my blog readers, other friends not mentioned, my family.... thanks for all the memories that we had and will still have this coming 2006. i hope we fill the coming year with more memorable events to keep in our hearts... of course, i would like to thank God to for making me stronger everyday and for keeping me in His love... oh well! after 13 hours.. its 2006... so.. ill c yah on 2006...

post christmas party
i went to roy's house for the ptc's christmas party yesterday and i ate too many food again. wah! i'm getting fatter everyday. hahaha. but anyway, i had fun last night with bianca, raisa, roy, windhy, and marvin. we had pictorials in roy's room while the parents were having fun singing in the living room. yup! the parents were having fun. hehehe. they were dancing, singing, and listening to the christmas carols of the teachers. hahaha. we were just talking in roy's room... eating and just hanging around. nothing else to say.... laters!!! hehehe. i learned that from smallville...

a freaky blog

pictorials here and there
ei guys!!! how's your chirstmas? my chirstmas was okay... had fun going to the net all night long... nah!!! just kidding it was for one and a half hours only. hehehe....
me, roxie, and roy travelled around tourist club and hamdan street yesterday. first, i picked roxie down her house. she kept on calling me to go down her house. when i was finally down, she wasn't there!!! grrr!!! i called her and she said she's coming down. what a life!!! hehehe... it's agood thing i didn't do what she asked me too... or else i'll be panting when i arrive down her house. hehehe. so me and roxie went walking to AD Mall while talking about certain topics... when we arrived at the mall, we thought roy was there waiting for us to come. but... NO!!! he said he was still coming coz he took one hour fixing his hair. now that's what you call a a person who is vain about his hair... when he finally reached the mall, we went to hardees and ate roast beef with cheese. hehe.. yummy... we had some pictorials and some were funny... others were perfect. hehehe... ill be posting them on my picures area in webshots later. then we went to the hill in corniche. took some pictures again. hehehe.... then we went to the park which roy and roxie were talking about. they said there was an ice fountain in it. so i agreed to go there butat first, i argued with roxanne coz i wanted to walk in corniche and she didn't want too. hahaha. so we reached the park and went to a swing. we played and played until sir nolan saw us and we hugged him and greeted him merry christmas. he said that he's with his friends from SFC..(Singles for Christ)... he asked us to help them make their dance for their presentation... so we did... then we strolled around the park and took some pictorials again. hehehe. we were galncing at the so-called ice fountain and took some pictorials there too.... suddenly a big smoke came out and it's a WOW... hehehe... the ice fountain made a big smoke. nyahaha... but anyway.... we saw karl, mark, and ralph too... oh well... after this, we dropped roxanne home and i went to janyn's house to give her a cd coz i asked her to download acid pro 4.0 and some other interesting stuffs... so after cd writing, she gave back the cd and we finally went home.... home sweet home... hehehe... till next time...

christmas spirit

the big day
yesterday, me and my parents went to hilton park near ADNOC. unexpectedly, raisa and her family were there too. that's the reason why i wasn't bored. me and raisa walked around corniche and talked with ate quenny. we had some pictorials. we even crossed the big fountain which had many stairs. hehehe. it was slippery but we managed to get at the endpoint safely. later, me and raisa dropped by in lavinia's house to pick her up. after she got dressed, we went straight to windhy's house. we watched HARRY POTTER AND THE GOBLET OF FIRE but we didn't finish it coz we hae to go to the mall. we just had laugh trip on the road while going to the mall and proceeding to raisa's house where we continued to laugh because of AMERICAN IDOL SEASON 4 Auditons. yah!!! american idol is too late in here. hehehe. i dropped lavinia back home and there we continued on watching HPATGOF. the movie was so amazing. two-thumbs up. unlike the other HP movie before this part, this HP gave many thrills and had interesting characters.

finally!!! i saw the outside world again after resting for three days inside my house. i felt like a bird who just went out of his cage. hehehe. me, windhy, and raisa went to the mall coz we were finding for a gift for SIR NOLAN. we bought him a watch from SWATCH. the watch is cute and i want to have it. hehehe. kiddin. after buying the watch, we went to his house to give him his gift but he wasn't there so we just gave it to his roommate. we went back to the mall and ate hardees. we saw liane, gliselle, aaron and zeus too. so great seeing those guys again. we went to raisa's house after eating then we spent our time watching THE MUMMY. after staying for one hour, we departed and i dropped windhy home and i went home too. when i reached my house, i decided to clean my drawer filled with my stuffs. wanna know what's inside my drawer??? here it is...

yesterday, i woke up early because i have to go to school for our presentation that afternoon. and it's a big shit for me to go to school because many were late and many didn't even come. we waited like one million years. hahaha. just kidding. when we were about nine, we started practicing and it was so b0ring for there was not even one single blend. after practicing for the presentation, me and raisa practiced for our oratoricala nd declamation pieces. then we went home to get prepared. as i went back to school, the band were already playing their instruments and they sounded good. hehehe. so while preparing for the choir, i was surprised to see janyn standing near the grade one room. i did see her but i thought it was someone else who looks like her because based on my own knowledge, she'll be coming back on eighteen. but lavinia shouted,"darren!!! how bad you're not even talking to janyn"... i was really shocked. anyway, welcome back anyn. another unexpected surprise for the grade 10 is that we were one of the winners for the presentations inPIPS Varieties even though we weren't prepared that much. i'm so happy. another thing is my oratorical speech. it was a success except fot the fact that i invented many words and lines because i forgot what to say. i was mental blocked. hehehehe...

the first performance night
after ten or more sessions of practices for our choir presentations, we had our very first experience today and was cheered by many people in BEACH ROTANA HOTEL. upon entering the BEACH ROTANA HOTEL, we all lined up as we received our costume and santa cap. we continued walking in the line until we reached the gates going to the back beach of the hotel. the beach was so cool. it has a cool design and cool scenery. the beauty of the gardens were so great. the party was in one part of the garden wherein the christmas decorations looked amazing. we started going to the CR to change into our costumes. when we went out, we had a little practice so as to be well prepared for the show. about 9:00 PM, we started the presentation with the song O LITTLE TOWN OF BETHLEHEM... it was a good job and was followed by the most difficult of them all which is CAROL OF THE BELLS... then we sang more christmas songs which is listed in the blog before this entry. after finishing all those songs in the list, we rested for awhile and had a repeat due tot he demand of the people. in these part, we did not only sing christmas songs, but we also sang two love songs such as WHEN I FALL IN LOVE and YOU as the finale. we bowed and wet into the other part of the garden where our foods are situaated. as we walked, people were clapping at us and were saying CONGRATULATIONS. we ate and took pictures after the show. after taking pictures, we had another meeting and sir danest said that our performance was rated TWO-THUMBS UP. and i love that comment. hehehe.
tomorrow will be another tiring day for tomorrow will be the CHRISTMAS VARIETIES of PIPS. i will be performing in the choir again. i have to stand alone in stage for my oratorical piece and our dance performance which will serve as our class presentation.

the class party
we had our last christmas party together today in school. i woke up around 7 and started preparing the things for the party. i left home around 8:15 am then off i went to school. when i reached school, uvelle, joemar, paolo, marvene, and roy greeted me... not merry chrtsmas but GOOD MORNING.. not al but some smiled. hehehe... i am contented with a smile. i arranged half og the tables and when raisa came, she told me to go to her house and get our contribution for the food. uvelle went with me and we both brought the PASTA to school. hehehe. it was so heavy and so damn delicious. hehehe. when we reached school, we started to take pictures while waiting for the others to come. when we were nearly complete, we started of with the party... prayers first led by marvene and owais. then raisa sang a song. after, we stated playing games. we first had the paper dance... owais and khalid won. congrats. hehehe. then later, we played musical chairs... i was out when there were about six chairs left. damn! owais won again. the last chair was between raisa and owais. and the victory was for owais. then we played stop dance. i forgot who won but the strong contenders were owais and khalid again! then roy and paolo. after the games, we started the exchange gifts by describing the person we got... and this is the cycle...

in-school tiredness
uhm.. the title of this entry is insane. hehe. but anyway, school is really getting me tired everyday. i want to freak out now. hehehe. many activities but it is worth it. first, i have to attend the choir practices and performances. i ain't sure if i am included in the thursday performance. then we have a performance on 16th of december which is connected to the PIPS VARITIES where we have to dance and represent our classroom. not only that!!! i have to memorize my oratorical speech once again and it's a big shit. hehehe... kiddin... i could familiarize it cause i've recited that piece many times since i was a baby... nah kiddin... i just recited that last february... hehehe... and somehow, i can still remember some of them so i am sure i won't be having a hard time... goodluck to me...
tomorrow will be the most interesting part of the school. the class party. yeah!!! i am really excited for the exchange gift. it's worth sixty. shit...a whole latta money. i don't want to spend that big but because it's christmas... i am willing to... hehehe... so i'll be going now coz i have to go back to school for the choir practice and take a sum of money from my mom in her office... i just went home to eat... hehehe... i am so freakin tired because the organizer of the program where we have to perform came to see how the choir performs. we gave them our best shot... and i guess they like it... they were smiling... hehehe.... okay that's it. got to go now.

victory
the results of the first quarter of the SY 2005-2006 were handed out and given today. there weren't any sudden changes in the honor list but two new classmates became top notchers. all the efforts and sweat we released during the months of september- half november were finally awarded with good results starting off with... the first honor: marvene fernandes... second honor: yours truly, darren salonga... third: bianca nazal... fourth: paolo barcenas... fifth: joemar procalla... and the sixth spot goes to three people: janyn martin, jeb aquino, and alfred dahbi... congratulations to us... hope we do better this quarter becuase i know that we do our best in every step we take... right??? hehehe
another victory is for NENE of Pinoy Big Brother... at first, i never noticed NENE in PBB. she was just invisible to me during the first two months of PBB. i just noticed her when they were about 7 inside the house. i realized that she should win the PBB Prizes because she is very true to herslef which all filipino, like me, must show. she showed all her skills, strategies, and her true attitude as a true filipina. i was really routing for her and was about to call my brother just to vote for her. hehehe... i just like the way she is... in short, i am inspired by her skills which brought her to the top...

THE CRYING SESSION
during our english period we didn't know what to do because we weren't prepared. during that time, darell came to bid goodbye to us. our english teacher allowed us to spend our time with him. we had our hugging moments that time, pictures for remembrance and the speech part. during that part, i couldn't speak because i was really in tears. when i started to talk, my voice was so low and not that clear. after these crying scenes, we planned to go to the beach at 6:00 PM. school ended then we all went home to prepare.
THE BEACH
when we were in the beach, we decided to swim but it was too cold. darell was in his swimming attire... not actually the swimming trunks. so we went back to his house so he could change. after changing, we went back to the beach and all of us went walking to adnoc. we ate in McDo and we talked. after eating, we walked to a shed where chairs and a table are placed. we arranged ourselves in circular formation and we started playing spin the bottle. the dare of jeb and roy were the funniest. they have to stand in the table and dance like a sexy male dancer for fifteen seconds. after that, we all went walking to corniche until we reached khalidiya to drop lavinia in her house. after dropping her, we all went home.

choir practice again.... i went to lavinia's house and taught her some math problems then i went straight to darell's house to bid goodbye. i waited for him down BHS building and started to cry again. i controlled myself to stop and i am glad i did. when i saw him coming, i hugged him and started to cry again. we both went walking to roy's house so that he could say goodbye to the others. luckily, we saw raisa down, and she started to cry as she went home. we went up roy's house and they were having a band practice... joemar sang a song for darell.... not actually a song but songs. he sang YOUR LOVE by ALAMID and YOU'LL BE SAFE HERE ny RIVERMAYA. i love the way he sang both songs... so nice... hehe... after, i dropped darell back to his house and finally, bid goodbye to him. me, owais and roy met down BHS and talked..........
darell is one of the best of the best of the friends i have. he is so true to himself and to others. i'll never forget him because he is one friend who taught me how to fight! i'll miss you and take care always.....

mapua fever
i am so happy. i can't explain the way i feel right now. all i know is that i didn't expect that the result would be like this. i was really expecting that i will have a failing performance in the Mapua Entrance Exam... but today, i checked the results and here it it....

the november days
as i said, the month of november was really hard for me. it really did keep me busy doing stuffs here and there. first, we started praparing for the Acquiantance Part for the year 2005-2006. this is the part of the school year where the newly elected officers are inducted. as for me, i have a big part in this so-called program. then after that, we have to study for our first quarterly examination plus there was this so-called Glee Club where our school started building up a choir for our school. i auditioned and luckily i got IN. i am in the bass group. i sang the song ILL BE during the audition. i am really inspired by that song. i just love it. besides the school activities, i prepared for the Entrance Exams that were held here in Abu Dhabi which is University of Santo Tomas and Mapua Institute of Technology. i wish i pass. hehehe. after these preparations, we started preparing for the COSTUME-GET TOGETHER PARTY of the high school students of PIPS. it was fun. especially the fun house. after these events, there was a news that was brought in school in which we have to take ARABIC EXAMS and once we fail, we will be retained in the same grade level next year. that news really sucked and right now, instead of concentrating in our three major subjects, we have to take arabic seriously in order to pass. grrr... then, we had another program in school which is the celebration of the UAE DAY. that celebration was okay. we danced i believe by Yolanda Adams.
now, it's december. we had the choir practice today. we finally completed two pieces but still we need a little more polishing so we could give our best performance... till then....
